Tuesday:Feeling Sad

I came online full of thoughts about my evening and the meal we had. But as is my want, I went cruising other blogs. I clicked on http://www.priorfatgirl.com/. I had read her sad news on Sunday about her mum, I was looking to see if there was any more news, there was and I am so impressed with the family and their love and forgiveness.

I am so moved by Jen and her family and how they are coping with the loss of her mum. The funeral is today and they will be walking their neighbourhood in her memory at 8pm. I don't now how far behind GMT they are but I am guessing they are at least five hours behind UK so that would be around 1am tomorrow morning our time. It is not practical for me to walk at 1am so I will be walking at 8pm this evening in memory of Kim and praying for her lovely family.

Rest in Peace Kim.

They seem like a fantastic family, which is why, in a way it seems so terribly sad.

I too shall walk this evening and think of them at this difficult time.

That is a great idea! You must be a very thoughtful person. Life seems so random at times. I am grateful for my faith.

Jen's family is truly an inspiration.

That is a great idea. I have been feeling sad thinking about Jen and her family, and have also been feeling helpless, wishing there was something I could do.
I will also be walking at 8:00.

I cried for Jen again yesterday morning while I was moving some boxes over to the new house. I never knew of her or her blog until her mom died and so many fellow bloggers posted about it. The tragedy of it all is still haunting me.

That's a very lovely sentiment, Sheilagh.

Your sincere compassion is touching. I'm not moved easily, but cried horribly over Jen's mom and how tragic it was.

My best always
Sean

A person would have to be a robot not to have been absoluetly crushed with sadness over Kim's death.
Your walk is a wonderful memorial.
