One pound lost.
I would love to be excited about it because after all it is a loss.
But the truth is I am very disappointed.
I was hoping for three, expecting two and got one.
I hope it will show next week,
I am not back in the exercise groove so I guess that is the problem.
I need to get my motivation sorted.
Anyone got any to spare?

Bah, flippin scales (they are not just, I tell you)! It often works like that, they take a bit longer to catch up with what we are doing, so yes, next week will be much better, especially if you get back into the exercise groove.
Here's some motivation for you: visiting Ralph's family a size or two smaller, Christmas parties in a pretty outfit, blood sugar levels staying low, feeling more energetic this winter than last, eye candy at the gym, feeling of empowerment exercise gives you, being slim at 60, great autumn walks...
I know you are a bit frustrated, but try to enjoy the loss anyhow. You are another pound closer to goal!
I love Kari's motivation tips. No wonder you love her.
You know I'm going to say that one pound is a good loss too but I know how you feel. I do this to myself as well.
It WILL show up next week, Sheilagh.
No doubt.

Sheilagh, please dont be disappointed. I know its hard, but when you think about it hunnie, it is still a pound in the right direction. Have you seen the picture of a pound of fat on Fat4Now.blogspot.com ....it looks huge and disgusting, and you have lost one of those this week. You should be proud of yourself. Putting on a pound would have been disappointing, but losing one ... celebrate !!x x
Thank You lovely ladies XXXX
Oh Love, dont be disapointed. We can't all loose weight like Miss Kari....lol
Just start...the mojo will come!
A loss is still a loss. I'm having trouble getting the numbers I want, too, but as long as the scale is decreasing in amounts, I'm going to think positively.
