A Good Day.
A Fun Day.
Went to Anglesey to spend the day with Trish, my BezzyMate and some other lovely ladies, Sam and Tracy and Pat and Mel, I have forgotten the name of the lady who was quilting:( They were scrapbooking, making books, making Christmas cards and generally having FUN.
Trish and I had a good natter and she made me jealous with the stash of new papers and stamps she had bought. Did you know there are people who buy paper to stroke and caress it? No...well you just need to look in my shed and you will find tons of the stuff and I added to my stash today also, but it was Trish's rubber stamps I wanted....
I had a lovely day and I must say I feel much better mentally today than I have for the past week. Thank you lovely ladies of Anglesey.
I came home and checked my emails, Facebook and blog to find that my lovely Kari (Fat[free]Me) had excelled herself in the 10K, I am so proud of her I could burst. I did cry, with happiness and joy. She is such a star.
My eating today was fine I ate 1695 calories, 95 over my allowance, but I can soon balance the numbers.
So all in all I have had a Great Day.
Tomorrow is a new day, the beginning of a New Week and I am looking forward to it.

Sheilagh, I totally understand the paper fetish. I have a room devoted to my paper and stamps. Just owning it gives me satisfaction ... never mind having to actually USE it all! :D
It's so nice to hear you had aGreat Day and feel better!
Kari is indeed an inspiration and SuperHero.
Kari is amazing, yes she is! So, when are you and I going to run a 10k Sheilagh? lol 5k? 2.5k? We could be like Jack Sh*t and train for the 0k like he's doing, lol. So glad you had a lovely Sunday and that you're feeling better after a crappy week. :)
I love paper too!!! I can't get into the digital scrap booking, even though it's way faster, because I need the tactile. I want to come to your garage!!! ( I think you just said that word "funny". It cracks me up how Brits say garage!)
I am so glad you had such a great day - any time spent with Trish does you the world of good, she is another angel (like you).
I cried twice yesterday - at the start of the race when we had a minute's silence for the cancer sufferers and again when I got home and the kind messages/texts/phone calls started to roll in.
Anyhoo, you are going to have a great week, I just know it!
Future positiveness- let it be your mantra- you have so many supporters who love and care for you- now how can you fail- be happy be safe and be contented - love you xxxxxxx
Congrats! I have something for you on my blog...
It sounds like you had a truly wonderful day! I’m not into scrapbooking but I do all sorts of crafts and I’m a reforming packrat--not a good combination. LOL I have such trouble letting go of things because I’m convinced they’ll be fabulous additions for my next craft project. And that craft project often never happens. ;-)
What a lovely way to spend the day. I, too, was so proud of our "Runner". We backed the right one in this race, didn't we? I was so proud to read of her success. I have to admit, I don't get the "Paper Thing", but then most people don't get my "Thing" about golf shoes, either. :)
