Monday Already....

Why can't we have a "Hold" button on the weekend? It goes far too fast.

I have had a very nice weekend, not a great weekend but a nice one.
Physically not feeling right, this sleep thing is really getting me down now.
Lack of sleep in making me nauseous, one of my phobia's is fear of vomiting
so I'm very wary of eating right now.

My gorgeous grandson Oliver had a sleep over on Saturday night
and it was a really good time.  It was a boys night, with the XBox,
but it was good to watch Ollie and Ralph having fun together.
Yesterday we were wanting to go for a walk but Ollie doesn't do walking...lol
He made several excuses, from:
his shoes were too small; his favourite baseball boots are a size smaller than he should be wearing. They need to go in the bin but he won't part with them.  His mum was the same as a child/teenager but yesterday denied all knowledge if trying to squeeze her size 5's into size 3's
He was on a rest day, he has been in heavy rehearsals for Bugsy Malone which goes on this afternoon and for three nights this week so i guess he deserved the rest day.
Walking is boring, he loves his bike so maybe walking is too slow for a whizz kid biker....
Hence we didn't go for a walk.

My Ollie.

Monday morning finds me feeling drained and very sickly.
I must try to shake this yucky feeling off, I am not falling off
the wagon now. What does it take to get a decent nights sleep?

If I don't sleep well, my DH forces me to take exercise, outdoors; I don't do enough so it usually does the job! Hope it settles for you, being tired is miserable. And - go back to power naps in the day....just for a while!

I know exactly what you mean about sleep! Unfortunately i ended up having to take a medication for it, you have to do what you have to do.
Hope you feel better soon.
Gorgeous grandson :)
My son used to be that way, he could come up with a million excuses for things.

What a handsome young man!!

I can certainly sympathize about the sleeplessness. I'm a mess lately, too. I have medications for it, but they are actually a narcotic, and I'm afraid to get too dependent on them. Once a month I take one pill, just to sleep more than 3 hrs. I do so hope you find some relief. I'll sure let you know if I hit on anything that really works... if you will do the same if you find something.

So sorry to hear this! There are many reasons for insomnia, both nutritional and emotional. I struggled with it for many years and it's gotten better aside from times when I am under a great deal of stress. Shoot me an email if you want to discuss it further.

Don't know why but the last three nights I have slept like a log. Before that I was having breakfast at 4am then I could go back and get a couple more hours. Night starvation is worth investigating; sounds daft but I used to get migraines until I got up at normal time and had breakfast at the weekend.
Wonder if it is linked to desire to do 60 by 60??
Reflexology; massage; meditation all worth a try . Love you xx

Glad you had a fun with the Gson. I missed getting together with my Gkids over the weekend. I miss them!

Hi Sheilagh. What a nice looking boy! Has more than a hint of his gran about him!

I'm sorry that nothing has helped you sleep. There could be so many different reasons. I really hope you get it checked out.
