Moody Monday

Monday started off beautifully in this house. My husband was home and we had a delicious morning together.

Then I went to work and everything changed. The patients were sooooooo moody!! I had three people, one at the main desk and two on the phone, that I was being so helpful to, well I thought I was, but seemingly I was being obstructive and unhelpful.  I was Gobsmacked, I checked with my workmates who were around and they said I was so helpful they really couldn't understand what the problem was. I wasn't the only one who had the problem though, we had a few other moments throughout the afternoon and we decided that the local chemical works were pumping out nasty gas again. There really wasn't any rhyme or reason for the nastiness today.

I was so happy to get home to my wonderful husband and to know I am a good person, he wouldn't be with me if I wasn't..  The three days of separation have reinforced our feelings for each other, it's flipping fantastic...LOL

Sad, that there are people out there that simply cannot be pleasant to anyone trying to be helpful. We see it all the time, impatience, rudeness, snippiness, some folks just cannot be thankful for the help they are receiving. So sorry you had to be on the negative end of this sort of behavior. Here's to a better tomorrow!

Oh Sheilagh, I can only imagine what's going on at your house!!!! Flippin'Fantastic...:)

I have always admired people in your profession. Seriously, how can you stand all the crankies out there who want everything NOW. You have to have thick skin in that kind of work. No matter how skinny you get, keep that skin thick! xxx

I do have to say that some days people act like there's a full moon!

Hey!
oy with the people.
Some people are projecting (as they say).
I am glad you and your husband are having a nice reunion ;o)
ignore the rotters...angry people die sooner anyhow.

NOthing like a little absence to make the heart grow fonder!! Glad your husband is back. I always say that I may not be able to control how other people act but I can control how I react to them. I like taking the higher road. It makes me feel good. :-)

Sometimes people can be impossible - for no reason at all!
If we knew a good way to handle it, it wouldn't be a problem!

I think some people approach already knowing they're going to accuse you of being unhelpful - they just need to unload and you were in the firing line, shame. Lovely to have your man back..good news.
