Where is My Sleep?

For three weeks I have slept really well, but last night and tonight sleep has deserted me.
I thought I had broken the pattern that caused the insomnia. I began reading at bedtime, for the first time since Ralph and I got together. It felt so weird reading in bed after such  break. but it worked, the cobwebs came each night after reading a couple of chapters and I was asleep almost as soon as the bedside light went off. I slept right through the night and it was FABULOUS. So why has it changed again? I was in bed at 11pm and now it is 1:47am and I am wide awake:(

I am so sympathetic. Didn't sleep well at all last night and it was a Saturday. Need to get a good night's sleep tonight. Didn't have any coffee today in case it's a caffeine issue for me. Sweet dreams!

I wonder if there is a relationship between us non-sleepers and folks with weight to lose? I too suffer from insomnia. Sleep apnea, worry and who knows what else, ruin many nights and then make me want to snack when energy runs low the next day. Hope you sleep well tongight!

Did you go to bed hungry. That usually wakes me up. Or lots of things on my mind of course. Make sure you are warm enough too. I actually slept right through last night so maybe I "stole" your sleep time- sorry. Love you and not too many sleeps before I am there again xxx

I think we all have occasional nights like that Sheilagh! I usually get up and read some more and then I fall asleep again after that. Normally what happens to me is I fall asleep, then I start to dream and wake up. Last night I was having a really vivid dream of a giant following me and hunting for me in a town. It was scary. I had to get up and read for a while to shake it off! xxoo

I think Sheilagh that we all through times when we don't sleep. I never let it bother me unless I don;t sleep for 3 nights then I moan and moan !! usually sleep that next night LOL
I have to say though that when I do wake up usually around 1am. I eat something.. I have found Tesco apricot Ceriel bars they are called very good they are only 80 calories..
