Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers. Thank God for listening. All is well, yes it is skin cancer but it is OK. It is not melanoma, which I was scared of.
My auntie Peggy died ten years ago of cancer, it began with a spot on her face, I did not think about it when my investigations began. But when a member of my of my family reminded me, that was when I got scared,
I didn't say anything to anyone, even my husband, but my imagination started running away with me.
My sensible head was telling me not to be silly, my worry head was telling me, it could be what auntie Peggy had. So I have a couple of weeks of quiet fear and dread. Thankfully, all is well.
I have to go back in three months for a check up, but I will put it to the back of my mind and get on with my life, supporting my husband through what I believe will be a stressful month February, the redundancy notices go out at BAE and he has the first of three operations on his eye on February 29th. What ever happens we will be fine.
